Year 7 Literature Circle Discussions
This blog is a place where we can discuss the novel, The Giver, as a class. There will occasionally be guiding questions posted to respond to and each group is encouraged to post questions and responses to each others' questions.
I would say so, even though the author herself doesn't think so. It takes place in a futuristic world or a world with different dimensions than ours for sure... what with the absence of colors, animals and memories among other things.
